Winter 1901

Old map here: http://www.diplom.org/DipPouch/Online/maps/map_c.gif . Sorry about the change, I lost the photoshop files for the old one and don't feel like spending an hour remaking it.

Winter 1901 Moves due ASAP! Remember, this is just a build phase - you do not move any armies or fleets this phase. Moves will be resolved on Saturday, and if you don't tell me where to build, you won't get any new armies or fleets until two turns from now. Note, however, that you can "save" builds for later.

GAME 1

Russia, you must choose a fleet or army to disband, as you had a net loss of one supply center.)

Spring 1901

GAME 1

GAME 2

It is now Spring of 1901. I think I messed up in regards to the names of each round, but it doesn't affect actual game play. Whoops!

Game 1
England (Phil)
F Edinburgh – Norwegian Sea
A Liverpool – Edinburgh
F London – North Sea

Turkey (Luke)
A Constantinople – Bulgaria
F Ankara – Constantinople
A Smyrna – Armenia

Austria-Hungary (Rachel)
F Trieste – Adriatic Sea
A Vienna – Bohemia
A Budapest – Serbia

Germany (Adam)
F Kiel – Denmark
A Berlin – Prussia
A Munich – Silesia

France (Andrew)
A Marseille – Spain
F Brest – Picardy
A Paris – Gascony

Russia (Tori)
F St. Petersburg (South Coast) – Gulf of Bothnia
F Sevastopol – Rumania
All Others Hold
Italy (Jasmine)
F Apulia – Tyrhennian Sea
A Roma – Venice
A Venice - Piemonte

Game 2

Italy (Nate)
A Venezia-Tyrolia
A Roma-venezia (Bounce)
F Napoli-Apulia

Austria-Hungary (Maggy)
A Vienna – Trieste (Bounce)
A Trieste – Venezia (Bounce)
A Budapest – Rumania (Bounce)

Germany (Becca)
F Kiel – Denmark
A Berlin – Prussia
A Munich – Silesia

Turkey (Ben)
F Ankara – Black Sea
A Constantinople – Bulgaria
A Smyrna – Constantinople

England (Dustin)
A Liverpool – York
F Edinburgh – North Sea
Others Hold

Russia (Alex)
F St Petersburg – Gulf of Bothnia
A Warsaw – Galicia
F Stevastopol – Rumania (Bounce)
A Moscow – Livonia

France (Sydney)
A Marseille – Piemonte
F Brest – Mid-Atlantic
A Paris - Burgandy

In the cases where "(Bounce)" is placed next to the order: that means that two armies moved to the same province, resulting in a draw, so the armies returned to the province they had attacked from.

Keep in mind: now you will all need to understand the game mechanisms of Supporting and Convoying, so don't hesitate to approach me if you don't know how those work.

Also, remember that the Build phase is at the end of this coming turn; if you have made a net gain in supply centers (the provinces with the gold stars) you will get to build new armies or fleets; if you have a net loss, you will be forced to choose which armies or fleets to disband.

Next moves are due on Monday at 9pm by email at Mnadler03@Gmail.com .

FALL 1900

Moves are due on Tuesday by 2pm by e-mail (Mnadler03@Gmail.com).

Please have the subject include the word "Diplomacy", and make sure to include your game # (1 or 2) and country along with the moves.

Possible moves are:

Move
To make an army or fleet move to / attack a province
e.g., for the French player, to move the Army in Brest to Picardy:
A BREST - PICARDY

Support
To put more force behind a Move order or help ensure that a Convoy goes through.
e.g., for the French player to have the Army in Paris support the Army in Brest moving to Picardy:
A PARIS S A BREST - PICARDY

Convoy
Not relevant now, will explain later. Has to do with ferrying armies over sea spaces.

Hold
To make an army hold position.
e.g., for the French player to have the Army in Brest stay put:
A BREST HOLD

So, for instance, France could do:
A LIV - EDI
F EDI - YORK
F LON - NTH

Two things to keep in mind:
1.) Your short-term goal is to capture supply centers (the golden stars on the map) by having an army or fleet on them by the end of next turn. Doing so enables you to make more armies and fleets.

2.) Armies can only move on land provinces. Fleets can only move on sea provinces or coastal provinces.

I know that my descriptions here are pretty unclear, so if you have any questions at all on game mechanics do not hesitate to ask me either by email or in person.
